Driving to the NIH Campus

If you will be driving to the NIH campus, please enter through NIH Gateway Drive off Rockville Pike and following directional signs to Building 45. Please note that all non-NIH registered vehicles must submit to a vehicle inspection upon entering the NIH campus. Please allow extra time for compliance with these security measures and be sure to bring one picture ID. Visitor parking is available at a rate of $2 per hour for the first three hours and $12 per day. Parking is limited and public transportation is encouraged as the building is a short walk from the Medical Center Metro Station on the Red Line.
